Beringer Knights Valley wines reflect the rustic beauty of the 600 acre vineyard from which they originate. Knights Valley lies snuggled between Napa Valley and Alexander Valley in Sonoma, about seventeen miles north of the Beringer winery in the town of St. Helena. Roughly five miles long and one mile wide, Knights Valley is made up of shallow, alluvial soils that give the grapes the characteristics unique to Knights Valley - low yields and small berries with tremendous intensity of flavor. Winemaker Laurie Hook makes three distinct wines out of Knights Valley: Cabernet Sauvignon, Alluvium and Alluvium Blanc.
